The First National Foundation & REIWA Community Reinvest
The First National Foundation
Established is 2006, the First National Foundation embodies the philanthropic efforts of over 450 First National Real Estate offices to provide financial support to charitable organisations across Australia.
The First National Foundation has been founded to tangibly demonstrate First National Real Estate's commitment to the community. As a registered, not for profit, Independent Corporation, the First National Foundation involves itself in fundraising in order to engage with the local and wider community, not to profit from it.
The First National Foundation is a public charitable Trust, eligible to receive tax deductible donations. For more information visit - www.firstnationalfoundation.org.au
First National Real Estate is proud to announce that its major sponsorship for 2019 will be Kids Helpline, Australia’s only free, private and confidential 24/7 online and phone counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25.
The national helpline has responded to more than 8 million contacts over the past 28 years, helping children; young people and families manage the challenges of modern life.
‘First National Real Estate is proud to help children and young people access the confidential guidance they need to cope with problems like cyber-bullying, depression, homelessness, mental health or suicidal thoughts’ says First National Foundation chairman, David Lovell.
‘The service aligns perfectly with First National’s we put you first philosophy because it puts the families that live in our members’ communities first. We want to make sure that Kids Helpline has the backing it needs to respond to more calls for support than ever before, at anytime, for any reason, because all children and young people deserve to be heard’.
REIWA Community ReinvestEstablished in 2013, Community REInvest is a philanthropic program through which REIWA (Real Estate Institute of WA) real estate agents identify opportunities, mobilise resources and support the people of WA, particularly the homeless. The program is facilitated by REIWA.
REIWA and its agents believe it’s important to be actively involved and help local communities by giving something back.
By forming close and productive partnerships with established and trusted organisations at a statewide and local level, REIWA agents focus on key areas of need and collectively help through fundraising, volunteering and delivery of services.
Partnering with The Salvation ArmyREIWA and its agents are proud that our first Community REInvest partnership is with The Salvation Army.
Through Community REInvest, REIWA agents provide support to help the Salvos continue their vital work in WA, particularly in response to homelessness.
